Today was ok but i went too fast and screwed it up a little bit. Its hard to run such a slow pace during mcd practice when they are practicing the 4x1 because i subconsciously(and consciously) feel stupid plodding along at 92 sec pace so invariably you start out too fast(theme lol) but whatever. Also it was significantly windy which is obv fine- maybe 1 sec/400 or something like that. So it was 88,86,87,88,87,88,88,89, then i took one extra minute,88,88,extra minute,86,83. So they were consistent- good thing. Too fast bad thing. Too hard also- not horrible obv but my legs were just heavy def. This was accpetable basically the nice thing i was tempted to do 8 or so but just took a little extra and continued. The extra rest made it easier but it also made me wnt to stop haha.
Yesterday was a fine run w darin and michael. Luckily we went early I wasnt sure if we should wait as they both texted but the rain at 930 was def better than the snow/sleet at 3. So that was a good 5.
Saturday I did a nice 6 with Jamie at UMD before ashs meet. We ran around lake titicaca or whatever the actual name is. heard some good guffawing from a group packed onto the gazebo on the lake lol. I was gasping for breath on the first mile but eventually felt better. The pace was prob in the 730? range. Who knows but it was fairly good. Also the 2 straight! semi fast(sub 830 pace) runs are another reason my legs are tired today.
Im also already getting a bit used to not stuffing myself at every meal until i burst. I had 2 cookies tonight instead of 4 for instance. Actually im eating less and it still seems like a lot so hopefully i can drop 10ish pounds in 3 months or something like that. Of course then ill go to my moms house and weigh myself and ill be like 168 or something and then be in a rage lol.
League meet tom at Catonsville. Looks like the weather is finally!! moving into the acceptable range. Oh ash did a 58.7 which wasnt bad at all for not much training. hopefully well have some good performances tom. And more importantly Saturday.
