first meet

So yesterday was quite good. Lets go event by event for the fun of it

4x8- girls fine beat parkville. boys 2 jv teams ok
100hur- sierra 18.6 by herself(literally) lol
100- Ash 12.41 i wish i would have timed her instead of having 2nd. still PR
1600- scott,dylan,keenan, and the rest 509 and up. erika 632
4x200- Whoa! girls wrecked it 1:44.2 that is no joke. Boys a good come from behind win
400- Ash ran with the boys and hit 57.8 very nice opening effort. Esp with no races for a month. Darin PR with 52. and a lot of good work from sprinters who just ran 4x2. Eboni quite good right with Imani in about 63
3200- Michael with a solid solo effort of 1056. Of course he was mad after meh/heh. Needs to aim for 1020 or 1030 before 1000
300hur- nope
200- good there were some 26s for naj,im,etc
4x1- a good job by a fun jumper team
4x4- darin with a great tough anchor vs parkville for the win- he also won the 800 which i skipped(shockingly) jenna had a smart win as well.
lj- najatee and olivia both hit big marks of 17'1 and 16'?
tj- solid liv 32' katie 26 and erin 27
hj- liv 4'10 naomi thought about it but no
sp- girls ok christine good 32 allana 29 and blaire 26 or 27
disc- 94,77,76 nice idk about boys

a good first effort. then i got mad today becuase there werent that many people there initially. it turnedout after the fact that 27 out of 30 boys were there and 22 out of 32 girls which is not that bad. also most all the girls had legit excuses. lol so ill lecture them slightly diff tom.

i ran a bit today and my hamstring/hip flexor etc was not that bad. ran with anna rhinehart at mcd after 2 mile slow wu with jeff. some stuff at about 630 pace then 2-4-2 at 37/71/36 which felt fairly ok. of course after prac my heels were sore haha. also i need to go to the dentist but ill prob wait for summer lol

im sleepy

running this week has beenn fair. i rally need new shoes. pictures were today which seemed longer than usual. also we seem to have a uniform shortage ugh. which doesnt make sense because we have slightly fewer people in outdoor than indoor. hopefully well figure it out. its ok that we didnt run too much cuz lots of people aer nicked up.

so for me 25 miles in 5 days. pretty standard stuff these days meh. oh i ran som e of the 5000 on saturday w michael. mile in 534 then 2 800s then a 400. those were also around 85 pace

Out of gas...literally

So i ran out of gas this am during the papers lol. At least got in a 2+ mile am run. Then did not run later as i was lazy and was going to get a new phone which didnt work ill get it tom. Im going to be tired tom im running part of the 5k i think which i havent run faster than 7min pace for like 3 weeks haha. so that could be fun. plus it will be cold- hopefully not windy at least for michael. hes trying to run 532 pace which hopefully i could hold for a mile or more if i get a good warmup. or not maybe haha we shall see. positive thinking!

also its now 1145 as i stayed up to watch the 5k and dmr at nationals. but amanda ran the 400 on the dmr for gtown(4th). so that was at least worht it i didnt even know she was running. the dmr at that level is amusing btw because the first 3 legs kill themselves and then the firsst half of the mile is always relatively slow so that 8-10 teams are always back in it with 3 laps to go. ok i guess i should go to bed. yeah tom i will be tired meh. not even for the run but just generally hmph.

sick again grr

so no post for a while. i took 4 days off hmph. saturday and sunday i was too busy tired- had to help matt move then tired. sunday went to mid atlantic meet and then tired after. not enough sleep this weekend whhich led to sick again on monday and tuesday. luckily i wasnt super sick i think my immune system was still used to fighting off whatever i had a couple months ago so it was quicker(hopefully). anyway more sleep lol.

so the last two days ive run for 39 min each day- not bad i suppose. feeling ok a little better today. i still need new shoes maybe ill go early next week. i would have ordered them a while ago haha but i have the dumb gift certif and i want to use it but that means i have to go to the store in person ugh.

also i probably lost my phone today hmph.

prac is off to a good start i think. we have hit all the workouts so far and they have been good for the most part. The mens varsoty level people are down to about 4 really but they are doing well and working hard and the new people are doing ok. the workout on yesterday was good nice and quick/fast for sure esp darin scott and ash- they did the two timed 100s darin well under 12 scott under 12 ashley under 13. That is moving for sure. today was a distance run or jump day. the girls are looking good ashley,jenna,sarah c,naomi,ashley bo. merritt is trying to deal with her issues but has to take a lot of medication so she will just do easy runs for a while def. also sarah m has some shin problems again ugh which we have to get right. at least i made her not run today. some new people have standard aches and pains- more hamtring stuff because weve been doing more fast running in the first week then normal maybe. haha blame ash and darin because i have more of a speed based program for the MD this year becasue of them.

idk what im going to do on saturday were going to the 5k. i cant keep up with merkle right now obv- i might run parts with him or run with erika if she goes. try to help someone heh since im not in very good shape right now obv.

i might be posting too much now

haha but i guess not. as long as this divides it by month if i ever want to go back and look at what i did(mildly likely) then it wont be too much info. Also generally the posts are shorter since there are more of them. Today was the first day of outdoor and it was good. we'll see how it goes. Im going up to write some stuff in when i finish this.

the run was fine we did a mile on the track which felt cold and slow obv as i had been at practice. i dont know why im so cold all the time it was 57-60 degrees out and i was cold. mild breeze but still. then over to HH for 3 loops then came back and finished with 3 laps on track. So 56 min for an easy 7. the pace was slow today but thats fine since i am running more now this week i have to get used to it. this week so far then is what hm- 6.5,5.5,7,5,7 pretty much right where i want to be. 31 in 5 days. tomorrow i might run before prac if i can wake up and then run w the team on saturday.
